Instructions

3/4 Sit-Up

1

Lie down on the floor and secure your feet. Your legs should be bent at the knees.

2

Place your hands behind or to the side of your head. You will begin with your back on the ground. This will be your starting position.

3

Flex your hips and spine to raise your torso toward your knees.

4

At the top of the contraction your torso should be perpendicular to the ground. Reverse the motion, going only ¾ of the way down.

5

Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.

Kettlebell Pass Between The Legs

1

Place one kettlebell between your legs and take a comfortable stance. Bend over by pushing your butt out and keeping your back flat.

2

Pick up a kettlebell and pass it to your other hand between your legs, in the fashion of a "W". Go back and forth for several repetitions.

Verdict

Both exercises target the abdominals. 3/4 Sit-Up is a beginner exercise using bodyweight, while Kettlebell Pass Between The Legs is intermediate and uses kettlebells. Choose 3/4 Sit-Up if you're looking for a more accessible option, or Kettlebell Pass Between The Legs for a greater challenge.
