Instructions

All Fours Quad Stretch

1

Start off on your hands and knees, then lift your leg off the floor and hold the foot with your hand.

2

Use your hand to hold the foot or ankle, keeping the knee fully flexed, stretching the quadriceps and hip flexors.

3

Focus on extending your hips, thrusting them towards the floor. Hold for 10-20 seconds and then switch sides.

Leverage Deadlift

1

Load the pins to an appropriate weight. Position yourself directly between the handles. Grasp the bottom handles with a comfortable grip, and then lower your hips as you take a breath. Look forward with your head and keep your chest up. This will be your starting position.

2

Return the weight to the starting position.

Verdict

Both exercises target the quadriceps. All Fours Quad Stretch is a intermediate exercise using bodyweight, while Leverage Deadlift is beginner and uses machine. Choose Leverage Deadlift if you're looking for a more accessible option, or All Fours Quad Stretch for a greater challenge.
